Facial Massage:

Facial massage is a treatment that helps achieve healthy, younger looking skin by slowing down the aging process. Massage is considered to be one of the oldest forms of healing. Along with numerous skin benefits, facial massage also provides relief for stress, sinus congestion, and migraine headaches. Having a facial massage on a regular basis can lead to firmer, more radiant skin by minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, moisturizing, and releasing tension.

Facial Massage has both physiological and psychological. Along with the relaxation benefits it, stimulates blood supply to replenish cells. Aids in Lymphatic flow and helps soothe the nervous system.

The most therapeutic facial massage is lymphatic drainage. This technique involves gentle massage of the lymph nodes in order to encourage cellular detoxification. Lymphatic drainage is highly effective after surgery to reduce edema and increase healing time. Basic massage, however, can be beneficial following less invasive procedures, like IPL, laser and superficial chemical peels as they induce at least a small amount of inflammation, and utilizing a light stroking technique five to seven days after treatment will allow the skin to return to normal.

During your daily skincare regime spend a few minutes massaging your creams into the skin.

Microcurrent

Microcurrent offers an alternative to surgery and photo facial treatments; they have become one of the most sought-after treatments for sagging skin or a dull complexion, and may be especially effective for getting rid of superficial lines and wrinkles. If you are experiencing signs of premature aging, you can effectively get rid of wrinkles, dark patches and other skin problems with the electrical stimulation. It also maintains the results of your surgical procedures.

How it works:

Microcurrent technology works by delivering impulses of mild electrical currents into the skin’s surface. This triggers the healing response because the skin cells sense that the tissues have been injured and the body begins to produce more cells in order to heal this ‘injury.’ This boosts collagen production deep within the skin’s surface and encourages the skin cells to heal and repair themselves naturally as they reproduce to heal the injured site.

Clinical studies show microcurrent facelift procedures trigger the production of amino acids, the body’s natural building blocks which are involved with accelerating cell production and repair.  Cells can be restored and the body can start producing healthier skin cells in a very short period of time. The micro current facial can be administered up to one time per month, and only takes one hour to complete as maintenance after the initial series.

Results are not instant, but the skin will appear tighter and firmer after just one facial session. Most people experience the best results about three weeks after the session when the body goes through its natural detoxification and cell turnover process.

Ultimately, microcurrent treatments are a healing and repairing facial rejuvenation treatment and can be an effective way to brighten up dull skin and reduce lines, wrinkles and scar tissues.

Series will depend on the age of the person’s skin.

LED Light Therapy (Light Emitting Diodes)
Your skin has the ability to absorb infrared light and use it as a source of energy to stimulate cellular regeneration. Infrared LED light therapy, first researched by NASA for use in the U.S. Space Program, can reverse and control the visible signs of aging and help you look years younger without harsh chemical treatments or invasive su...rgical procedures. Dramatic tightening of skin, smoothing of wrinkles and rough spots, disappearing blemishes, softening of redness, and shrinking of pore size can be achieved with this natural light treatment. Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a light cosmetic procedure that uses mechanical devices that uses crystals or diamond flakes and suction to gentle remove the outer most layer of the skin.

Like using a tooth brush, Microderm removes dead skin cells and debris.  Treatment need to be repeated every four to six weeks as the skin typically sheds over thirty days. The benefits are a smoother, softer skin, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkle and reduces hyper pigmentation and shallow scars.

Microdermabrasion treatments carry minimal to very few possible side effects or complications. However, some patients may experience temporary and mild dryness, sun sensitivity, and rarely temporary bruising or scratches in the area of skin treated. . A sun block is mandatory when you are getting Microdermabrasion, even if the sun does not shine.

Remember “Don’t correct if you don’t protect.”

Chemical Peels:

A  Peel involves the application of acid solution to remove the dead skin cells of the face, neck, décolleté and hands. A Peels removes several layers of sun damaged and aged cells to reveal fresh skin with a more even skin tone. Depending on the depth, freckles, age spots and melasma may be lightened and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles may be reduced. Acne skins greatly benefit from peels as the acid softens and dissolves black heads making extractions easier.

Chemical Peels are rapid exfoliators than dissolves the top layers of the skin, there are many levels and potencies among peels. It is best to have a professional like your Dermatologist or Esthetician help guide you to see if you’re a candidate for it. A sun block is mandatory when you are getting peels even if the sun does not shine.

Remember “Don’t correct if you don’t protect.”
